As for the difference between the PKALL diagram and the ADS KO diagram, each company chose their own method of numbering the pins and one is the rear view and the other is the front view.  The colors match up OK and given the different views the location is the same also.

The PKALL is similar to the Fortin KEY-OVERRIDE-ALL.  Here is a link to see if the module is programmed / locked :  https://ifar.ca/en/support/products/55-key-override-all_programming_diagnostics.html

The wiring looks OK, but with the battery drain issue, the thick ignition wire connections should be checked / verified with a DMM to ensure they are connected to the right wires on the KIA.

Sorry for the delay in my response.  I have just recently installed the idatalink module that you had suggested.  Everything went perfect!  You were right when you said that the idatalink was easy!  As for the battery drain....its not happening anymore.  Not sure what that was about.
