Hi everyone, another remote start problem. I installed a Bulldog RS 82 with a PLJX bypass in my 06 TB. Wired everything up exactly as the directions called for but I have 2 problems no one can help with. Of course I can not get any response from Bulldog either.

1. When remote starting, vehicle will start for a second or 2 then shut off. It will do this 3 times and stop.Is this a tach problem (I am using tachless mode), Passlock II, or something else?

2. When programming with the Bulldog remote, brake applied and stop button pressed, the starter engages for a second every time.

I have installed a few remote starts before , even installed the RS82 in my 99 Tracker last month  with no problems. I just can't seem to get this one.

Any help is appreciated and thank you.

The acc 2 wire is connected but there is no relay. I hooked up the tach wire this morning and now it wont do anything at all. I think will just take it out. I can only take so much.

ADDENDUM

If you have an RS1100 or RS1200 and your vehicle runs for several seconds, shuts off, restarts, runs, and shuts off again, perform the following step: Connect the BLACK/ White tach wire (from the 16 pin plug) to the heavy gauge White Ignition 1 wire and program the unit for Tach Mode (bottom of page 19).
