Installed a Compustar 5200 with a Blade-AL in a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 a few months ago. Then a couple weeks ago, he tells me that the blower isn't going on during remote start anymore.
I checked it out, and found that the white ACC wire from the 8-pin main connector on the compustar brain wasn't outputting 12V during any period of the remote start sequence. I tested it right at the harness connected to the brain. This wire is connected to the ACC wire. It worked for a month or so, and then suddenly stopped working. I had to rewire it with a relay to the 2nd ACC wire.
Does this sound like the compustar 5200 just went bad? It still starts fine, locks and unlocks fine, etc.
