i'm reviewing the idatalink wiring and please let me know if i understand this correctly. The wiring diagram type 1 found here: http://www.idatalink.com/support/helpdesk , the ADS-DLSL GM1 is what I'm after for this truck? As far as I understand I will be able to use the idatalink cable. So that's a good thing. So as stated above, I have to plug in the data cable obviously, and this is where it's kinda confusing me. is it door status - to that wire of the starter? Tach output -? There's a tach input wire on the remote starter but no ouput? Then on the bypasses ignition input to wire starters ignition output wire? Then the "data" wire to pin 2 of the obd2 connector? Is that it? then the datacable does the rest? or am i just totally off track?
with this bypass i don't have to worry about ANY door lock connections or anything correct?
it's late, been a long day, and I feel confused...........
Thanks

Did the Sierra today and everything went great! That bypass module made things so convenient. I am now going to order another one of those idatalink solo series modules for a 08 Caliber.
My question is which one should I order, the ADS-ALSL CH, or the ADS-DLSL? The only difference being is for the relay control for optional ADS RNG.
Thanks once again for all of the great advice!!
