(-) Start Activation input

Hey dyer,

There are many reasons for battery drain . . . although it isn't normal that it would drain to the point of no start.  Do your headlights flash when the alarm goes off or only the parking lights?  Does your starter kill receive current at all times or only when the system is armed? 

When you say that the lock button works, do you mean the remote or the switch in the door?

Don't ground the trunk wire from the alarm module.  Just tape it and set it aside for when you want to add a trunk switch.
