I want to install a car alarm on a 1994 Chevy Corsica. The wire that is for the door lock is supposed to be in the driver's kick panel and is Light Blue. Well the problem is that there are 3 light blue wires in that harness, 2 of them are the exact same hue and the 3rd one is a little different. How can I test to see which wire is the one I need?

Can you explain exactly what I should do with the meter? Like which is the other wire that I need to touch?

set the meter to dc voltage, and set your black lead to ground, and your red lead to the wire you're testing. when you hit lock/unlock depending which you're testing. you should see 12volts on the meter.
