keysense and 2006 hyundai sonata

thanks for your quick reply tony_g. I am in the process of hunting down the tach wire. I think it is in the driver's kick panel on a black connector (white wire) or at the instrument cluster. is the toggle switch need for this remote start to function?

yes it has to be connected to the brain in the appropriate socket and set to on for the r/s to start. its just a safety switch that you normally hide in the car to shutdown the r/s when you lend the car to someone or have the car in for repairs servicing ect and dont want anyone to be able to use it. i initially forgot to put mine in then saw it sitting on my passenger seat when i attempted a remote start after installing and it didnt start. its always the simplest and most straightforward things that cause problems and we overlook them, hopefully thats all thats stopping it from working .

Oh Mylanta! I am such an idiot. Thanks tony_g for that. Thank you all for your help. Attached the toggle switch and flipped it on, with no tach wire and car started.
