I connected everything according to the 1084 doc from directed. I haven't installed the PKUMUX yet. I had to order one but thought I could get everything to work by leaving the key inserted in the cylinder for testing purposes, however with or with out the key the car will start and then shut down after 2 seconds. The dash lights never come on so I am assuming there is something up with the ignition wire.
Is the 1084 doc necessary when using the PKUMUX?

If the key is in the ignition and the remote start STILL starts and shuts down, it sounds like the Tach wire is incorrect or not programmed.
