Hello, i've been givin the wonderful task of finishing a remote starter that was partially installed into a 2010 audi S4 with a manual trans.  The shop installed the remote starter but said there was no bypass for the clutch. the bypass that was used is a Idatalink one (not sure excatly which one but i do have a ADS-AL-CA which will work for the car) im just wondering if someone has done a remote start on this style car and able to help me out with bypassing the clutch. thanks

at this time i haven't looked uner the dash. I contacted my tech line and asked them about it and they had told me that there was no clutch wire and that it was to be controlled by the bypass module and they had no other information on it. So i called ADS and they told me the ADS-AL-CA would work. but ith two different storys and no information i figured befor i start digging into this sweet car...i'm going to do some homework  lol

Get out your DMM and start looking for the clutch switch, even if it's data a relay would still by-pass the switch.
