I installed an Autopage RS-603 remote start with a idatalink ADS-DLSL-HA in a 2010 Honda CRV. I am using the idatalink cable to connect the bypass to the remote start. When the car is not running on remote start, the lock and unlock buttons on the Autopage remote work just fine. When I remote start the car, the system unlocks the driver door and starts the car. When the car is remote started, the lock/unlock feature on the autopage remote will not work. I'm stuck with a car running on remote start that is unlocked with remotes that now won't lock or unlock the car.
To try to trouble shoot the issue, I decided to attach lock/unlock wires from the autopage unit directly to the lock/unlock wires on the car. These lock/unlock wires were wired to the ADS-DLSL-HA before. Same issue, the autopage remote works to lock/unlock when the car is not remote started but when I remote start the car the lock/unlock buttons stop working on the autopage remote.
Any suggestions? I'm about to lose my mind here.
Thanks in advance.
