i have a valet552 car starter with python ezsdei497 remote that will no longer communicate to the car starter when buttons ar pushed together or separate(2 button remote with red led). this has happened before an the installer reprogrammed it to the car starter in a few min.
i have the installation manual for the valet552t and have tied to program it using the learn #7 and #3 for the transmitter(ign on,press/release valet button, then choose(7), then hold valet button and push a button on the remote. But still nothing. can someone tell me what exactly to do to get this thing working again. it is in a 98 dodge ram 1500 318 and all it does is start the vehicle when you push both button simultaneously

i think with that one you program channel 1 (lock/unlock ), then 2 ( which does nothing ), then channel 3( both buttons together, which does start)
