Hi hoping someone can help.I have a 2003 mazda6 with steering wheel controls for the radio and I wish to install an aftermarket bluetooth kit for my mobile phone.I'm wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram for for the steering wheel control so the kit can be wired to the mute button on the steering wheel to mute the radio when a call is made?

Most bluetooth kits come with a 'mute' wire, which you just connect to the corresponding pin on the back of the radio, when the call comes in, the radio will mute automatically.

Test by setting your DMM to ohms range then place black probe on a known ground, then place other probe on any pins including those with wires till the radio mutes.
In the UK, VW and Saab even have a sticker on the factory head units with the pins labelled.

If the above doesn't work, break the WHITE/ red acc as follows.
Using a standard relay,
mute from Bluetooth to 85.
Cut WHITE/ red, car side ACC supply to 87a and 86.
Radio side to 30.
