I want to install a momentary push-button switch in my car.  The only one the matches very well is one from Radioshack.  However it has a rating of 3A @125VAC or 1.5A @250VAC.  My first question is, can I use a VAC switch in a 12VDC system?  If so is there any formula that tells me how many amp can I pull through this switch before I need to use a relay?

Thanks for the help!
