I have been working on a wiring diagram for an upcoming install of a Viper 5902 alarm/rs using a idatalink ads al ca bypass module. Im pretty sure i got all the connections i need figured out but the connection of the door lock/unlock and oem alarm disarm/arm on the 5902 along with the idatalink unlock/lock wires has me a litte confused. The truck comes equipped with a factory alarm and i have read online that the idatalink module does not control the oem alarm, with that said this is how i was planning on hooking up the door wires:
On 5902
H2/1 LGREEN/ BLACK (-) 200mA OEM Alarm DISARM Output: disarms with unlock
H2/3 GREEN / WHITE (-) 200mA OEM Alarm ARM Output: Arms with lock
H1/8 GREEN (-) Door Trigger Input > YELLOW/BLACK (-) Door Status Output on idatalink module
BLUE (-) 500mA Unlock Output > RED wire on Drivers door module (Programed for double pulse)
GREEN     (-) 500mA Lock Output > BLUE wire on Drivers door module
ON idatalink ads al ca module:
GREEN/ BLACK (-) Lock/Arm Input > Not connected
BLUE/BLACK (-) Unlock/Disarm Input > Not connected
I initially was going to connect the lock/arm and unlock/disarm wires on the idatalink module to the GREEN/ blue unlock and lock wires on the 5902 but to my understanding that would not disarm the oem alarm.
Can anyone verify that the connection i have planned is the correct way or am i mis-informed about the idatalink module not disarming/arming the factory alarm? Thanks.

Are you using the D2D connector or your doing W2W?

If you really have an factory alarm, the only way to disarm it is to run a wire in the driver's door switch to a wire with color Red and arm is blue...Double pulse is needed to unlock so you'll have to connect the blue unlock wire and the GREEN/ black wire together and set the remote starter to double unlock pulse. Don't set the disarm to double unlock because you'll have a slight problem with the doors unlock while starting. If wired like above, you won't have that problem.

You are going to find the ignition and bypass alone will disarm the factory alarm. No need to disarm before remote starting. This is true with most Nissan products using a regular key.

I will be connecting the bypass w2w.
So would the way I have it planned to wire the set up cause a problem? I assume I would get the remote start to operate and keep the doors locked. I also would get the oem alarm to disarm when I unlock the car using the viper remote.
What would be the benefit of hooking up the blue unlock wire to the the GREEN/ black lock wire on the ads module be over what I originally had planned to do above?

with the ads al ca all you need to do is connect the green (-) lock & blue (-)  unlock from the 5902 to the lock and unlock wires on the idatalink module and be done with it. its that simple

Yep the ADS-AL-CA will control the doors but it won't disarm the factory alarm. If you don't have a factory alarm, you're fine. To test it, lock your door with the oem remote, wait 30 seconds to 1 minute and unlock with the viper. Open your door, if the horn kicks in, you have to bypass the factory alarm. The reason why I suggested that you connect the blue (unlock) and the GREEN/ black (disarm) together is for this reason. When you start your vehicule, disarm will send a pulse just before triggering the ignition thus disarming the alarm without unlocking the doors. If you would use the GREEN/ black wire and set it to double pulse to avoid pressing twice on the unlock button, your truck would unlock everytime you start it. Using the blue and GREEN/ black together with double pulse on unlock only will make you start your truck without unlocking and when you want to unlock your door, you don't have to press twice on the unlock button. Hope that I'm not confusing you too much.

Ok, do you mean connect the BLUE (unlock) on the 5902 RS to the BLUE/BLACK (Disarm) on the ADS and not the GREEN/ BLACK (ARM)? I looked at the ADS wiring diagram and the DISARM is the BLUE/BLACK wire and not the GREEN/ BLACK.
So assuming your meant BLUE/BLACK instead of GREEN/ BLACK then the setup should look like this then:
On 5902
H2/1 LGREEN/ BLACK (-) 200mA OEM Alarm DISARM Output: disarms with unlock / no connection
H2/3 GREEN / WHITE (-) 200mA OEM Alarm ARM Output: Arms with lock / no connection
H1/8 GREEN (-) Door Trigger Input > YELLOW/BLACK (-) Door Status Output on idatalink module
BLUE (-) 500mA Unlock Output > BLUE/BLACK unlock/DISARM (Programed for double pulse)
GREEN (-) 500mA Lock Output > GREEN/ BLACK Lock/DISARM on ADS Bypass
ON ADS Bypass:
GREEN/ BLACK (-) Lock/Arm Input > GREEN LOCK Output on 5902
BLUE/BLACK (-) Unlock/Disarm Input > BLUE UNLOCK on 5902 (Double Pulse)
Is this correct?
Thanks for your help everyone, this is the last thing i have left to figure out before i can install this RS.
