At the minimum, Port size and length. Possibly everything. I'd need all the dimensions on your box as well as the port dimensions to help with that.

Ok well maybe I will build a new box what are the reccomended specs on a box for those subs?

diamond d3 subs are not meant to throw a whole bunch of power at them or be mistreated. it sounds like a combination of having a ported box that is tuned too high and using too much power. if your box is tuned too high it will distort the subs and sound bad at low frequencies but be extra loud on higher bass notes. most subs will eventually fall apart from this kind of distortion.
