I plan on using an Excalibur omega 2 way alarm/remote start and Xpress kit DBALL interface. Will the DBALL work for the ALARM part of the remote start also or will I still have to direct wire all the door pins, accessory wires and so forth?

According to DEI's manual for the DB-ALL and the 2006 Ram it will give door status to the alarm. The accessory wire in that truck is multiplex and the DB-ALL handles that as well. Make sure you read and fully understand the installation manual for the DB-ALL, that piece makes the installation pretty simple. I have trust issues with D2D wiring, so I always use W2W...you can trouble shoot W2W easier than D2D if you have to. Also, make sure you change out to 10amp fuses for the ignition wiring.
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

Thanks Twelvoltz .  I do a lot of remote start keyless entry systems, but not many people want alarms around here so I'm not as up to speed on them.
