i have a 2002 pt cruiser coming in the gal says that it unlocks and locks the door at random. the remote starter/alarm is a viper by looks of the remote a 5701 or similar model 2-way. I do not know what bypass is in the vehicle have not seen it yet.
I do not usually don't work with viper, but the lady say's the dealer that installed it told her that that is not possible that could be happening and will not look at it (Bull@#$% in my opinion).
i was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem and a good place to start looking for it.
She could not tell me if it happened more under certainer conditions
she said it remote started fine and the alarm was working as far as she could tell
thanks in advance

Bet it's a micro switch in one of the actuators and nothing to do with the alarm.

I second howie. PT's have really crappy electronics and its probably has nothing to do with the Viper at all. I'd unhook it and see if it still does it.
How are the locks interfaced? An Idatalink mod or resistors?
