first time install for this model. I have a 2 wire actuator, will this work with the viper? If so how would i wire it with the 5101? Any diagrams out there for install help, i have the manual but there is alot inside the manual and all i want to do is make the car start and use the keyless. Simple instrauctions from any one will help greatly.

i think all i need to do is hook up the power, ingnition, break switch, lights, hood pin, tach, accesories, and posibly neutral switch, along with door lock but unsure how to wire the actuator. it has 2 wires one green and one blue.

thank you in advance

You need to read the ENTIRE manual. You said "is make the car start and use the keyless" well thats basically what this unit does so you need to know how. You need to understand how every wire functions before starting the process. When you say 2 wire actuator are you talking about an aftermarket 2 wire actuator?? Does the car not have factory power door locks? are you adding them to all the doors or just one?? And just to understand what level of instruction you need, do you understand how a relay works?
Also are we working on an automatic car or stick?

And none of these are DIY.

I thought so, DEI say add actuator, some Subie models at the time were using 1 wire but not this one. If it's any thing like the Imprezza of that time, good luck (there's a trick with them) and you will need a 451 kit as well.

this is aftermarket, the other doors have actuators and lock and unlock when driver door is locked or unlocked. So in turn I just need to add an actuator to one door and only trigger that one actuator. I do understand how relays work

Will i need the kit if it is just one actuator for one door?

Looking at the manual it shows door lock as either  BLUE (+) (-) door lock and GREEN (+) (-) door unlock

I am unsure which wires do what on my actuator, its an aftermarket off ebay 2 wire one wire blue and one wire green.

If you read the owners manual you will see that these are low current wires to actuate the (required) two relays but frankly a 451 pack would be better unless you have a couple of Bosch/Tycho type 5 pins floating around and you go to the relay section here ref: "adding an actuator".
An actuator depending on it's mounting requires 5-10amps current capacity. Those wires allow under 200 milliamps so say goodbye to your unit.

ok i understand that now. as for the rest though when the manual tells me to connect a wire I can just connect it ie starter, ignition, such? Will I need any thing special for the other wires such as break switch, parking lights? or is it as simple as any ma amp signal will need a relay?

Yes and test first then solder, no, the locks are the only two unless you do factory horn or headlights, some Japanese such as Toyota use low current negative triggers to an existing relay but you would have to test. Is this vehicle listed in the vehicle wiring section? If not I'll post it.

Yes test first was planning on that. I didn't want to use the horn but I thought maybe have the parking lights turn on and flash when started and locked and unlocked. Can I just use the signal wire that is in the car. I did get the wire diagram off this site. Thank you for having it on here. When u say test before solder r u talking test the unit to make sure everything works or test wires to make sure I have the right one? I planned on doing both.
