hi all, doing a 98 ford f-150 next and was wondering if there is an easy route into the engine compartement for tach and hood pin. Looks like a very simple install with the exception of a bit of meetering of the ign vs. acc. wires. Anyone know of an alternate tach connection other than at the pcm.

 Thanks in advance

I always use an odd colored injector wire on Ford's as the ignition coils can be unreliable. As far as where to go through, I don't believe those trucks are too bad to get through the firewall. Just make sure to drill in a spot that has nothing behind it.
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

Thanks, Twelvevoltz for the reply. I think there is an existing gromet on the drivers side as well. I will take a look when I get it.

 Again thanks for the reply
