Doing a 07 Tacoma with a XK05. It has the PkT2 version in it. Is this the version I should use? Xpresskit lists that as one that will work...Thanks for your help!!!!

The PKT2 firmware on the XK05 is correct for an 07 Tacoma. It will do transponder bypass for remote start (since you didn't mention what it was you are 'doing' on the truck).
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

I am doing a Avital  on this truck. Saw on Xpresskit there was another firmware PKT1 that als was listed.. On the PKT2 install sheet it lists the IMO and IMI data wires behind glove box in a black 36 pin plug   lt/green and blue/white  I could only find oneblack plug with those wires.. How would I test for the correct wires....Thanks again!!!!

If you can re-flash with the PKTI firmware, it is an easier install.  The wires are at the steering column and easy to find.
Soldering is fun!
