Looking at putting a Viper remote start into my wife's MDX.

Going to go with the DB-ALL interface.

My main question is if the standard length of the Viper/Python antenna wire is long enough to put the unit in the center console where the factory remote start unit would go.  It will have to reach from the middle of the windshield, across to the A pillar, back across under the dash and into the center console.

Anybody do one of these before and is there a better place to put the main unit?

Just installed Viper this last weekend and yes, you do have enough wire to install to the center console just forward of the rear blower from the center window just right of mirror. However, the parking light wire will not be long enough to reach to the LH driver kickpanel location so a splice is needed. Installed DB-ALL with Viper 5501 purchase refurbished from factory for 109.00 Door locks work and get remote indication to work but cannot get the engine to rotate. Guess you get what you pay for. Double checking wire again this weekend.
