I have two 5701 vipers and both 2 way remote ghost lights have failed next to the lock button. Anyone know if the design of the Clifford remotes that will work with my 5701 is of better design? I was thinking of getting one off of eBay.

nothing to see really. The led is rubbed against when the lock button is pushed and the plastic top of the light pops off inside. You cannot see it from the outside of the case.

Probably means a Mk ll design in 2012
