Yes.

Actually it is ADS DLSL GM1 and ADS ALDL GM.  The ADS ALDL GM will work on the 2007 Saturn Vue while the ADS DLSL GM1

won't.  The only Saturn the ADS DLSL GM1 works on is the Relay.  The Solo Series in the orange box come preloaded with
firmware while the green box Multi Series require the USB cable and dealer access for the firmware download.  The Blade
modules are only used with newer Compustar units.

Thank you I ordered the correct one now from an Amazon reseller. Thank you for your help!

Hmm... would the GM1 not work on an 08 Cobalt? I had a problem with the 08 Cobalt I did last weekend and the bypass would not program to the car... I wonder if that was the problem...

Hi Kenny,

Just looked it up on their WEB site and don't see it listed for the 2008 Cobalt, only the ADS ALSL GM in the Solo series.  Which install guide is listed on the box?

Soldering is fun!

I don't have it with me anymore. And I'm not 100% sure which install guide I used. Do you have a link to the GM install guide? I can go off that and compare it to the actual connections I made.

If you have the Install Guide number from the side of the box, you can go to this WEB address

( http://www.idatalink.com/support/helpdesk ) and look it up directly.  They only show the
latest firmware when you look up a vehicle but prior versions might do work if you follow that
F/W versions earlier guide.  The current Guide number for the ADS ALSL GM V1.1 module is #2468.

The ADS ALSL GM comes preloaded with the ADS ALSL GM firmware.  This is a very broad based firmware

that covers many vehicles.  However, if you have the ADS USB cable and access, you can load other
flavors of firmware that are more vehicles specific and in some cases actually cover other vehicles.
Case in point, the ADS TBSL KO covers most Ford/Mazdas, Toyota/Lexus, Honda/Acura, Hyundai/KIA but
you can re-flash that module to handle some Nissans ( ADS TBSL NI ) or GM vehicles ( ADS TBSL GM ).

Soldering is fun!
