Do you have a local shop by you that sells DEI? You may get one to help you out and possibly let you test an antenna from one of their stocked units...

There are plenty of dealers around here in central Florida but most of them seem like they don't want to help you unless you are a paying customer. No one seems to want to deal with you if you already have an alarm installed that they didn't do themselves. Its funny cause i have found other people with the same problem online and doing the lock, unlock, lock thing seems to have worked for them.

Now just to be sure... you do have either the green (-) door trigger or violet (+) door trigger connected correct? Otherwise the lock, unlock, lock method wouldn't work because its not seeing the door being open

I'm not using the H1/6 Violet (+)Door Trigger Input wire because i have the H1/8 Green (-)Door Trigger Input wire connected to the (-) Yellow/Black Door Trigger Output wire of the ADS bypass unit. I know its recognizing open doors because i programmed various features through the antenna/valet button initially and one of the required steps is to have a door open. Also if i arm the alarm with a door open it will tell me i have a door open. The alarm is also triggered if i open any door. I'm telling you man, this one is a pain in the ass lol.

Another shot in the dark, could the plug be inserted the wrong way round? On earlier versions the white LED plug and the blue valet pin plug could go in each other's slots, been there done that but then the LED glows dimly but constantly.

In this particular antenna version there is only one plug that goes into the brain, and the other end into the antenna. I cant imagine that plug being able to go in backwards and still operate normal except the LED but i will check on that, you never know!

Yeah went and checked and the plug only goes in one way in both the brain and the antenna so back to square one.

Bump. Im having the same problem with my python 574 (very similar but one year newer and not the color version).... Stays lit even when vehicle is running. I had originally put it into valet mode by mistake, but it came out after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery a few times haha. Any more advice? ive tried all the steps listed in the past posts...
