Hey,I am having troubles with a 2006 caravan and am using the idatalink ads-al ca module. Everything appears ok as far as wiring yet on remote start the ign powers up but no start.I am using D2D as opposed to wire to wire. Moduled programed correctly yet no starter crank. The module looks after second start. I have ign and starter wires hooked up and ran power to battery. Any help would be great

I personally always go w2w for reliability. The DEI units can be very touch and go with d2d. Also, in order for the idatalink to work with the DEI d2d it has to be flashed with a certain firmware.(DBI-AL(DL)-CH6 instead of ADS-AL(DL)-CH6) Do you know what the AL-CA is flashed with currently?

In order for it to work D2D with the DEI unit, it must be flashed with the DBI-AL(DL)-CH6 or you can just change to w2w which is more reliable anyways.

I will try W2W tonight if that doesn't work I will reflash with DBI-AL(DL)-CH6 and let you know how it works
Thanks

i would flash it with the DBI firmware, if that doesnt work then resort to w2w.
