Thanks to work and my wife's car having some problems I am just now getting back to this. I hooked the NSS (BLACK/ white) to ground and it did not change anything. I have today off so I have been working on it. When I run the Remote Start Diagnostics the LEF flashes 7 times which indicated "Timer Mode/Turbo Mode/Manual mode error *" I have tried the turbo timer and it does not work either.

I have tried going through menu 3 and changing the transmission mode to automatic.

The tachometer has been hooked up from the original install and I have learned the tach.

This morning I unhooked all harnesses from the alarm and left it for a bit. I hooked everything back up, learned the tach, changed the transmission mode the automatic, verified the NSS switch is on. The remote start still does not work and gives me the same error. I have noticed from the very beginning that the responder has never displayed any of the remote start icons.

I am at a loss for what I could be missing. The alarm has been working great, its just the remote start and turbo timer that are no working.

i just had somewhat of the same problem when i hooked up my 5901. delete the remote from the alarm and then re-program the remote. i think this will solve your problem.
