No 12vdc to coil of relay. Pulled relay and powered coil with AUX 12vdc power supply and coil latches.

Well....Oddly there's 12vdc available on the board where pos and neg pins go and I assume 12vdc flows thru from pos to common and then N/O? The N/C side of relay seems to be a dead pin on the board. I'm going to put the relay back in and recheck.

Common should be speaker output from output transistors. N/O should go to the speaker terminal of the amplifier. N/C has no connection. Jump the relay common to N/O and see if the amp plays.
I know that there is a surface mount transistor that fails. He does not remember which one it would be. I am going to his house this evening. I will look at his pictures and see if I can remember where it is.

Amp plays with relay jumped. Let me know if you determine which transistor it is. Excluding the one's on heatsinks,I only see 3 others. These are close to the relay and side by side in the board.
