Hey sorry for the ignorance but I am not an installer and don't have knowledge on this topic. I understand running tach wire is best bet. I guess I should find a reputable shop and have them run the tach wire??? I don't wanna get ripped off and was wondering what that should cost me?? Any answers are much appreciated.

to answer your question, yes, if you turn engine checking off it will likely solve the problem because it wont look for a tach or voltage signal and the engine will stay running. but, the side effect of not using engine checking is that if the car does not start on the first try then it will not try again and it also will not shut the ignition off until the remote start times out which could potentially kill your battery.

Most shops will stay away from a situation like this. Or charge you a premium price. They don't want to "own" your install (get blamed for anything else that goes wrong). It's kinda like taking your half cooked bacon and eggs to Denny's and asking them to finish it off for you. Yup, you would get laughed at.
We could help here though. First you will need to find the brain and find the violet/white wire at the brain and find a way out under the hood. There is a rubber gromet that can be used to the left of where the clutch pedal would go through. Run it to one of the coil wires as listed in previous post, then you will need to program.
