Hello all
I'm new to this forum and new to forums in general, so please forgive if I'm using this incorrectly or am requesting this info in the wrong area.
I want to install a remote starter on my wife's 2010 GMC Terrain and I was told I might be able to get some wiring diagrams and/or help from this website.
Is there anyone with knowledge on this application out there?
Thank you
Mark

You will need a data bypass module for the antitheft system and to control the locks and a few other features.
I would recommend a module from iDatalink or Fortin. They may need to be programmed for that vehicle, so make sure where you purchase them from can flash the firmware for that vehicle.
Make sure and test every wire connection with a multimeter to ensure a smooth install.

Thanks so much Frank
Have you heard of Bulldog products out of Stuebenville Ohio? Do you feel they are of good quality products and company wise? This by pass module you mention does not bypass my alarm in the sense that my alarm will no longer work does it?

Bulldog makes good products. I don't use them much but the few that I've installed work great.
The bypass module integrates with the factory security and allows the remote starter to start the engine without the car thinking someone is trying to steal it. These modules are necessary with most new cars today.
Your alarm and all current functions on the vehicle will continue to work the same.
