pushing the button twice and hitting the brake should shut down the starter and let the car take over. But since you disconnected the remote starts brake input it doesn't know your hitting the brake. The car should shut down when it times out though. I've done a few of these using the Fortin evo-all and had no issues also have used the idata ads al ca with out issue
Do you have the vipers brake input going to the evo alls black brake out put on the 20 pin connector ?

I did have the brake input hooked up but that was causing the system not to start. It would send enough voltage to the brake input to cause the system to shutdown. Once this was disconnected the system would remote start but now it will not shutdown without timing out or using the remote.
I want to hook the brake safety back up but with it hooked up the remote start will not kick on the starter.

Did you put a meter on the brake output of the evo-all to see if it gets power under remote start ? Maybe a bad module ?
I had a similar problem on Saturday with an ads-al-ca. With the tach hooked up from the data module to the remote start module the starter wouldn't output a start signal. When I disconnected the tach wire the car would crank. The tach wire from the data module was outputting 12 v when the start command was sent

I will have to check the brake output on the evo-all to see what it is giving me for voltage.

Might be a foolish question but I didn't notice if it was answered before. Are you connecting the brake wire to the car's brake switch directly or to the EVO-ALL foot brake output?

To the Evo-All foot brake output, black wire.

Try connecting it directly to the brake light switch.
Brake Light     GREEN (+)     BRAKE SWITCH WHITE 4 PIN CONN, PIN 1
Then it should work just fine even if the evo all is having issues this will bypass it. Let us know how it works out for you .

Hooked up to the brake wire directly and that seemed to work.
I do have another possible issue.
I currently dont have the activation input on the viper connected to anything and the car will still remote start. Is this a problem?
Also this might be normal for bypassing the securtiy but when you remote start the car will unlock, start, then relock after 10 or so seconds.
