relay diagram for led/halos

A DPDT switch won't help you out, you will need a three position switch that has an "off" position. A standard DPDT switch is still only a two position switch, it just has two SPDT contacts in parallel. You should be able to diode isolate your ground feeds to prevent backfeeding to your door pin circuits but allowing both sets of lights to come on. Kevin Pierson

Also...you mentioned 6a diodes. Would this be the diode you are talking about? http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productid=2062591 Reason I ask is because they have a few different 6a diodes. Also, since I have 3a diodes in there right now on parking light setup..what could go wrong if I dont change them out for the 6a right away?
