I'm installing a new dash display in my '11 FX2.  I'd like to connect the display to my factory backup camera. It uses a standard yellow RCA-in.  I believe that the wires are in the drivers kick panel, but I need the color codes.  Can anyone help?

Thanks, PC

I have no idea of the colors or the location. I can tell you that there will be only 3 or 4 wires in the cable that goes to the camera. One wire will have 12 volts on it when the vehicle is put in reverse. One wire will be video that you will need to supply to the display. There will be one or 2 wires that are grounded. If there are 2 wires, they will be electrically connected. If there is only one, you will have to connect it to ground and also the shield of the RCA cable that supplies video to the monitor.

the camera should have six wires on it. ignition and ground, video + and -, shield and control. ford uses a balanced output for video signals.
probably accessible in one of the 'a' pillars.
video + ... WHITE/ green
video - ... BROWN / violet
assume your vehicle does not have the factory navigation?
