The VSS wire is a dark GREEN / WHITE at the PCM under the driver's fender. It is found in cavity 50 of the connector closest to the outside fender. The connector is green but you can only see the color once it is removed. There is a chance that your vehicle has the factory cruise plug taped up to a harness on the driver's side firewall (engine side). If it is there, the GREEN / WHITE wire is in that plug too.
