DBALL instructions state that when a DBALL is used in D2D, with a Viper, the jumpers on the remote starter must be placed horizontal operating position. Vertical position for W2W? Where are jumpers on 5904?
Also, on 5904, at H1 main harness jack, there is red tape covering two of the pins. Is this tape easily removed?
Thank you, for help!

The jumpers are for older Viper/Python brains that don't apply to the 5904. There are no jumpers needed to connect in D2D.
Not sure if you already removed the red tape but it's pretty easy to pull out.
Good luck!
