Test all of the following directly at the unit itself: Constant, ground, ignition, door pin. Make sure they are all showing exactly what they should.

ill check it soon..

whats weird is that everything worked before zapping the unit.

remote programing worked door triggers bonnet / trunk .

brake shutdown etc.

but before putting the car back together i tested it and it gave me 5 flashes.  I tested the brake wire it seemed to be fine.

So i zapped the unit.  Now it wont let me get into program mode.

Using the DEI BitWriter one can ZAP the unit and wipe out all of the settings, including deleating the remotes from the unit.  You can not program the unit again until at least one remote is paired to the unit.

Paradox,  do you have any saved files in your bitwriter?  If yes you might try writing one of those files into your 5704 to get it working again.

What door trigger are you using on (Make, Model, Year of car) POS or NEG ?

If you were getting a active brake signal, maybe disco the brake input and then try pairing the remotes.

Have you tested the H3/1 Pink wire to make sure it is getting 12 volts with the ignition on?

ok... finally got it to pair..

now the orginial 5 blinks persist...

first i tried to use howies methods to isolate brake feed back...  and it didnt work.

So i cut the brown wire closer to the module to manually apply power unit trying to replicate the shutdown process.. and i still get 5 flashes
