I'd rather install the cd player in my Ford myself rather than pay some stereo installation place $30-60 to do it. Especially since it's like 12 wires, and all you need is a $7 harness at Wal-Mart and a coathanger (or stereo removal clips).
Here's another place to look for car stereo removal help:
http://www.carstereohelp.com/ They have about every car on there, or something close.

First off, well said Philaf.  I could not agree with you any more.  This vehicle is not all that hard to work with but as with any vehicle you're always taking a risk whenever you're working on it.  Some people are fine with tinkering on their own vehicle, and others wouldn't dare try to replace even a lightbulb.  It's all personal preference and many owners want that kind of reassurance that their car will be taken care of.

As auex points out this is going to be more than just a simple in-dash mobile video install.  You're going to need to wire up two switches and mount them somewhere, find the right power and ground connections, etc.  In your situation I would recommend first TRYING a local shop to see if they are even willing to do it.  More and more places, even the smaller shops, are starting to not do installs involving bypassing the built-in safety features of mobile electronics products, mostly due to the simple fact that it is ILLEGAL to bypass these features in pretty much every US state now.  Best Buy and all larger stores would never consider bypassing it, I can guarantee you that--they're too paranoid about lawsuits and liability.
