Ok so I did the smart thing and bought the dball interface made the install much easier except I failed to realize that the interface had to be programmed with the xkloader2 so after calling every installer around and getting denied for them to load the firmware finally I found one installer that had no problem doing it for me so Sunday I am meeting him. Is there anything else I need to know is just taking the dball interface to him ok or should I take the vehicle. I install the dball interface. Hooked everything up as shown in the dball diagram type 3c was this right and do I hook the 4 pin plug from the dball interface to the remote start after the firmware is installed on it

Have the shop flash the 401.Chrysler v5.06 firmware on to the DB-ALL.  Follow the Type 3C install diagram.  The Pictorial

will show you the Parking Light wire, a good +12V constant source, a chassis ground location and the ignition switch
connector wires.   The only wire not shown is the Driver Door pin for RAP shutdown.

There will be additional wires needed from the Viper such as :

H1/2 Red +12V
H1/3 Brown Siren
H3/6  Red +12V
H3/9   RED / Black +12V

Install the Vipers Neutral Safety Switch and set to ON.

After the DB-ALL is flashed with the firmware, follow the install guide for proper order of connecting the harnesses and then the steps for programming the bypass module to the Jeep.  There is a specific section for vehicles without factory remote keyless entry.

Soldering is fun!
