This is a 2014 Kia Forte Regular Key
This car has no transponder. It has a intergrated remote with the key. The remote doesnt work when car is running.
The car has factory Anti-grind
I used a DEI 4103 and 1 Bosch relay for the trunk release

Can you please tell me the tach wire or post a picture? I followed your guide and I seem to be hooked up. However, all the coils have a common blue wire and then each has a 2nd uncommon color. So, I went to cyl 3 and hooked to the uncommon and got nothing. I also hooked in to the brown alternator wire from the driver kick which I got from another site. Neither got me anything.
I'm getting 7 flashes on my Prestige APS901c which tells me tach not learned when I try to start it. When I follow the tach programming I get nothing with those 2 wire configurations.
Any help would be amazing. Just need to know a good tach connection in the cookpit somewhere as the uncommon didn't seem to work on the coils.

Kia/Hyundai cars with factory alarm (07-14ish) you need to hit up the disarm and lock detection with the disarm diode isolated. That should make the keyless on the rs work.

have you installed alarm on 2014-2015 kia soul?
was wondering if the color codes are the same.
found a different site that showed lock as red (+), and unlock as yellow/black (-)tyoe b these wires at dash fuse box white 16 pin plug (b) pin 8 (red) and pin 3 is Yellow/black... then it shows lock motor wire as gray (5-wire type) I am confussed. usually most Asian vehicles are negative for door locks. maybe its just where they are getting the signal???? any help would help.. thanks Raul

I have done quite a few souls.
Lock should be red (-) 16 pin plug pin 8
Unlock should be yellow/black (-) pin 3 same 16 pin plug
I've have never used the unlock detection wire. I use the factory alarm disarm wire pin 4 (-) pink same connector as locks. Even if your car doesn't have a factory alarm the wire will still be there. Tie the factory alarm disarm wire from you system to they pink and it should unlock everytime

This information was excellent. Three questions for you.
1- I have a 2011 Forte and I have to put a relay in on the accessory wire/heater blower due to starter grind on key take over. Do you have information on how to wire in the relay? Which wires go to which?
2- I installed a Directed Electronics (Viper) 4105V and none of the wires on the remote start list anything for dome light. Is there another wire I am supposed to hook up for illuminated entry?
I did not hook up the factory disarm. The previous remote start that was in here did not have it hooked up either. The car remotes starts, locks, unlocks, and operates as it should. Do I still need to connect that wire? If so where do I get a diode and how does that work?
Thanks again for all the info.
Orlando C.
