Here is my problem, installed a remote starter in a 98 chev pickup (no keyless entry), Autopage 610. The starter part works great.
The problem is that both the lock and unlock wires going to the door (not the starter) both rest at -12v and don't change to +12v until the door lock switch is pushed, so if I hook up the starter lock wire and press the button on the remote it blows the fuse.
So any easy solution? Or do I have run a bunch of extra wire thru to the door to di it
Many thanks
Greg

Thanks for you help guys, but i've got a couple of more questions
1)anyone know what the wire colors are for the power lock motors?
2) Can I splice in the relays required right by the power lock switch so it will operate both the lock on both doors
Thanks

The wire colors are in the first reply to this and if you wire them correctly then it will work both doors because the wire is the same for all of the doors.
