Which version of the bitwriter chip is required to program the newer viper remote starts? Using my bitwriter on a viper5704 today and i got a not a valid system response.

Talkin about the bitwriter chip howie. I did end up programming via valet switch. But i still want the info.

Without opening mine I think it's v. 2.7.
I'll know in 10 minutes when I get delivered a 5906 on a grey import.
