Yea, I guess either would do...I'm not really sure. I just went to a local place, and the guy handed me one. Just don't forget to get a 'non-locking' one, and it should have 3 terminals.

Hi there guys,

I'm still going for the push button solution. I already bought a push button and I hope to install it very very soon. I found out that my car uses a 5 wire actuator. 1 for ground, 2 for motor lock and unlock, and 2 for switch unlock/lock switches. I'll post the wiring diagram when I already have it installed. Any pf you guys know how much current the actuator motor drains? I need to make sure if I need a mechanical relay. My switch is for low current applications only.

does anyone here know how to put a switch like that on a dei 451m? it's the door lock relay pack the installer used when installing my clifford alarm and new door actuators. do i have to add more relays or can i just tap into the wires from the 451m?

Thank you, works excellent ! Found the lock/unlock wires going from the 700IQ to the relays and tap'd in.
Works as planned.
