Hi everybody,
I have a 95 honda accord 2.2 vtec engine. I just recently installed an alarm with remote start but I dont have the remote start hooked up though just the alarm.
I tryed to hook the remote start up but didnt work so i am going to get that professionly installed. I hope I didnt fry any of my wires. I checked the relays and fuses there all still good. If I did screw up the wireing what would I need to fix it?
My cooling fan only comes on when my car is off. When I turn my air condioner on both fans come on so I know the fans work.
My fan uses to come on when my car was on just randomly. Now if dont come on at all with my ignition on. so when my car is idleing the temp gauge goes up past the half way mark.
I was thinking that maybe my sensor could be bad? I just changed my theromostat. can somebody help???

Not sure if your problem is the same as the problem I had, but it was similar. In my Acura Integra ('93), the cooling fan didn't come on when I had the a/c on, but then it would come on whenver it wanted (especially when the car was off) and would kill my battery. Someone suggested the "Cooling Fan Relay" or "Cooling Fan Timer Module"...something like that. After changing a bunch of things (and nothing working), I changed that module, and everything works fine now. It looks like a black plastic box, maybe a little bigger than a pack of cigarettes. It was located behind the radio in the dash, to the right side. When I just touched the old one, the fan would turn on, and if i hit it again, the fan would turn off. So I knew that was the problem. It cost about $150 or so...and everything works now.
By the way, maybe if you describe the remote starter and your problem, we can help you install it.
