That's a pretty good explanation. Thank you! Makes sense that the numbers refer to the internal memory.
And I agree with you, these modules are a pretty darn good deal for the amount of R&D and technology needed to create them. It's a wonder they don't charge more.

They do north of the border, for the cost of a TB here, you can get an ALCA there. Which is strange as the company is from Canada.
Guess they must get more business in the states or something.

That is nuts. Although, makes me wonder if there's more demand for remoter car starters in the colder, northern climate, therefore it justifies higher prices. Who knows?

Could also be that French Micro-code Firmware that is flashed on the modules is more expensive ( due to translation fees ) and only available in  Canadian dollars....  flcan = ads alca? - Page 2 -- posted image.
