Hi, I have a ford probe 89 and i ve been trinng to install a pro star 4 botons remote start on it.
All the wiring is done, ignition, starter, cluch switch, brake, handbrake, 12V constant, -ground, locks and tach, i dont think im forgetting anything.
I programed the control and try to enter on ready mode, but it wont enter on ready, it flashes 1 time insteead of 2.
Someone knows what could be the answeer here.
I got another brain unit and try it and is tha same, so is not broken or anything.
Thanks guy

Well with it being an '89 it has no transponder so the first thing I suggest is that you meter all of your connections and ensure each is receiving the correct voltag...make sure all fuses are good and the yellow loop is not cut on the back of the pro start.
Now I'm hoping you didn't miss accessory and the driver door pin which was omitted from the above message...without the door pin being tagged the system will not go into ready mode...hope that helps.
Solder, tape, repeat!

Okay, today i make a trip to a car wreker and got a couple of door pins, so i conected them when i got home, also conected the door POS, to the dome light, 12v in.
Nothing, still the same, when i finish my ready mode lights flashes only once, in the manual says should flash twice.
And ofcourse wont start...

Hi, can you post a list of the wires and where you've connected them to?

Sorry, you can NOT post a reply.
