2005 toyota corolla pkall bypass wiring

I successfully wired in my viper 5706v but I've encountered an issue with the pkall bypass hookup. This is my first remote start/alarm hookup so bare with me. I looked at the bulldog site and it says that the keysense wire is blue/black on the ignition harness but I couldn't find any blue/black wire anywhere. I'm assuming that I dont have keysense since it didn't have a factory alarm but the pkall isn't programming without that wire hooked up. Any ideas what to do with this wire? Thanks

the keysense is used to power up the factory immobilizer. its there...look for a white or black 2 pin connector.Ted

I do recall seeing a two pin connector tucked away above the ignition cylinder but I was expecting to see it on the ignition switch harness so I didn't think to try that one. So one of those two wires will be BLACK/ white and I just tap into it? No relays or diodes needed right?

The problem is I dont recall either of them being blue/black and other threads have said to diode isolate the wire and ground. That was for a different model year though so I'm not exactly sure what to do.

youre correct, that plug is generally above the ignition and connected there, but the wires are also run down to the knee kick area, and there is also another plug. for the bypass just connect the wire to keysense.Ted

So for the bypass keysense wire I need to tap it into one of those large wires going to the 2 pin connector? It doesn't matter which one I choose or that neither of them are blue/black? Thanks again

It should be a fairly small wire size. Around 18 gauge. Worst case use your meter and test it. Red probe to constant 12v. Black to keysense wire. Your meter will show 12v when a key is inserted. Ted
