keep in mind, most toyota/lexus have telescopic steering wheels. IF you have it set all the way back, you won't be able to find the plug you're looking for.

I installed on 2008 rx350 and found it underneath barrel. (End of barrel was ignition switch wires, under barrel closer to the the front [where you insert key] was connector for transponder. . Had to cut sleeve to gain access to wires. ... how this helps

thanks everyone I got it. The colors were different but the pins were right. BTQ it is the black plug UNDERNEATH the key cylinder. Now I need to figure out how to get heater to work when I remote start.
