Additional thoughts:-
You don't need the heavy gauge H3 loom for this, 14-16 ga. wire (1mm) is more than adequate with a 15 amp fuse to replace the 3 x 30 in the loom.

have you done the install?
I was always under the impression the fortin handled the ford locks/can-guess it doesn't for the fiesta.
The system is not tricky. Its still a single wire lock/unlock, you just have to break the detection wire; or else pressing unlock twice would result in a locked door.
Howie's diagram in theory works for the xpresskit as their firmware utilizes the internal relays, however this would not work on the fortin. The fortin also has internal relays that can switch inside, but they are not programmed to do so-which would cause a non functioning part. You could email them and have them write a custom firmware for you though.
2 options:
1) use a starter with a single button remote and use the BROWN / white @ BCM behind glove box white 24 pin plug pin 8. locks will alternate between lock and unlock which is fine.
2) use any system with separate lock and unlock use tech 1099
yellow/grey (-) lock/arm
PURPLE / brown (-) unlock/disarm
blue/brown (-) unlock sensor

Thanks Ted, I looked at the Fortin diagram and thought, heck you can't use this.
Except if your remote start has lock/unlock outputs, you hardwire to the grey plug on the CEM. The only part you will be ignition controlled lock and unlock.
You can use the alarm's lock and unlock wires with a relay as a one wire system and alarm/RS factory alarm lock and unlock to do the deadlock and factory alarm disarm, then you get the best of both worlds.

I would agree with Howie. Just hardwire the door locks.
