Not much info. Basically they have the same function. Doesn't talk much about each individual.

Use 1N4004 or 1N4007.

Howeii mentioned on the first page: It's also advisable to place a diode 1N4004 across 85 and 86, band to 86 to prevent back EMF (c. 200 volts) destroying your RS on relay shutdown.
I went to look around in the Radioshack today. They are running out of business. I found some rectifier diodes and want to purchase to keep for future use, but they rated 1.5A instead of 1A.
So my question is can this 1.5A diodes used in place of the 1A.
Peak Inverse is 1000v
Foward current is 1.5A
Peak surge current is 50A

The model number for this diode at radioshack is GP15M
