Hey guys, I've been reading and studying as many posts about adding a remote start to my 06 Toyota Sequoia and figured it was something I could tackle. I have a good grasp on electrical work, have installed many stereos and such and figured I could tackle this.... Now I'm second guessing myself, yet still don't want some hack kid at the stereo sop putting splicers all over.
My setup is a Toyota with factory keyless entry, no alarm. The remote start is a Viper 4706V to which I purchased a XK01 and XK05 to which I appropriately flashed. I do not have a D2D wire setup and figured I'd just solder everything W2W and I have 2 of the XK adapters.
Everytime I start to sort wires, labeling where I think they will go and connect, I start getting confused as to what will connect where. Does anybody have a wiring diagram on what wires will need to go where with my setup. I really don't want to pay for a hack job somewhere, but am starting to feel I might have to as I seem to have problems even properly wiring the XK adapters to the 4706V. (example XK01 violet/white) is a negative output for door sense trigger... does this connect to the green #15 for (-) door input.... this is confusing as the colors are off and the 4706 doesnt have a label (door sense trigger on any of their vague instructions.) I appreciate any help in advance

if it helps, I plan on D2D to the XK05 and W2W on the XK01. Ultimately, I need to know what wires are used and what aren't... and if at all possible, the color of wire on the vehicle they correspond with

Heres what I had, but am confused on 2 connections...
XK05 blue & 4706V 8-pin pink. The above chart shows XK05 attaches to the pink in the ignition harness and the 4706V connects the pink 8-pin to the BLACK/ red in the ignition harness with the XK05. I just want to verify the connections go to the same locations. Also, the blue/white #2 pin on the 4706 24 pin goes to a defroster output... is there a way for me to turn on my defroster using this?
Heres the connection log I had created:

The XK05 w/PKT2 firmware install guide specifically lists all of the connection points except the Blue wire.  It  just says

Ignition In from vehicle.   The easiest way to obtain that input is to connect this Blue wire to the Vipers thick Pink IGN1
wire being as that Pink wire is going to the same place.  Typically, I keep all the R/S modules close to each other and
condense / bundle the wires together according to their final destination in the vehicle.  Keeps things neat.

As for the Sequoia's Defroster wire, here is the info from Omega :

Rear Defrost      WHITE/ BLUE (-)      AT DEFROST SWITCH

It does not specify if a momentary pulse or a latched output is required.  You will have to test this wire while manually

turning on the vehicles defroster and then program the Viper ( Menu 3, Feature 11, Opt 2 or 3 ) accordingly.  Also,
don't be surprised if the defroster comes on ( ~10 seconds after the engine is remote started ) but the dash indicator
light remains off.

If you want, you can get the Brake Input at the switch above the brake pedal as you mentioned, instead of in the DPK.

Same for the Tach Input, which ever location is easier to access.

Soldering is fun!

Ok, so I took a whack at wiring and it wasn't to bad. I do have a couple problems. When I start, it runs for a short time, shuts down then restarts... keeps doing this until I shut it off. I can only assume it's a tach input no reading right (it's connected as Kreg listed above) second, when it is running on remote, the a/c - heat controls don't power up or run. I did not connect the defrost as I wanted to tackle the basics first. when the key is in and on, everything works as it should.
Ideas?

So I changed the remote start to voltage sense and it stays running. the a/c is still dead. the steroids comes on, and these are a bunch of lights on the instrument cluster (abs, center locking differential, 4lo, 4 hi, airbag, low tire. if I use the key, it shuts off the lights and turns on the a/c.
