I'm wanting to install a red laser scanner strip for theft deterant and some bling, I'm wanting to tap it into the factory arm trigger wire, I will eventually have a viper alarm remote start installed but was hoping to be able to find the factory trigger to tap into does anybody know where it is located on my car? I see there is a security wire that runs to the back of my heads it where there is a light that flashes when car is locked, I was hoping to tap it below dash somewhere

I think there's a reason no ones responded to this. The description of exactly what your trying to do here is vague. Laser scanner? Sounds really cool, I want one, what is it?

Wait until you get your Viper then the trigger wire on that scanner goes to the orange ground whilst armed (GWA) on the Viper.

That's true, run the NEG (-) to any ignition wire, it will turn off when you turn on the ignition.

Ok I'm trying to wire in a relay to make it switch on my scanner, I think I found the wire I need a pink wire in the kick panel, to trigger relay, it reads 0 while unlocked then reads 12volts while locked and factory armed, now this is a positve trigger right, how would I wire this to a relay, to power the scanner, I have a add a fuse to insert into a constant 12v right, then would I need a negative output to power strip or positive?

Why bother with a relay when I've already given you a sure and simple answer.
